15 in 2015

Well HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

I'm pretty sure most of us are still recovering from New Years Eve shenanigans, so I'll keep this short and sweet.

Heads up: We're changing "Think About It Thursday" this month to "Throughout the Month Thursday" So this month, you get to follow me as I complete (part of) my New Year's resolution.

Now, I have yet to actually complete (because I usually forget) any resolutions I've made over the years. But not this year. This year I'm making a resolution that is challenging but I know I can do it if I push myself...and probably with some encouragement from you guys.

So about a year ago I started running. Something I swore I would never in my life do let alone enjoy. However, I've proven myself wrong and absolutely fallen in love with it. I love the freedom. I love the challenge. I love that it's me on my own pushing myself further than I've gone before. Shedding some extra pounds didn't hurt either.

I made a resolution last year to run a 5k. Spoiler alert...I failed. Not because I'm not capable of doing it, I'm just the best procrastinator on earth and never signed up for one. So in 2015 you bet your butt I'll be running a 5k. Hopefully more than one.

But that's not my resolution. My New Year's resolution is to run 15 miles every month in 2015. Now, this doesn't have to be all at once, as long as I get in 15 miles each month I can run however many I want at a time.



So, throughout the month I'll be updating you on my progress, how many miles I've done so far, what I'm struggling with etc. I'll be posting on Instagram and Facebook too.

I'm also going to ask if any of you want to join me on my resolution. You don't have to do 15 miles each month, maybe try 5 miles. Or shoot I don't know you try 30! Let's help each other out so we can FINALLY say we've completed our New Year's resolution.

So, here's to 2015...we're comin' for ya.
