Your boyfriend's flannel looks better on you anyway

TGIF, am I right ladiessss?! Hope you all have amazing things planned for the weekend, whether it’s hanging with your friends or a date with Netflix, I’m not judging!

Let’s get the weekend started with a Flannel Fashion Friday. I feel like cooler weather comes around and everyone is reaching for their favorite flannel! There’s so many different colors and styles to choose from! You can style it so many ways, pair it with pretty much everything in your wardrobe and it just works, ya know? Those are my favorite pieces of my wardrobe to be honest, those that don’t require much work.

Today I’m going to show you two different ways to rock your flannel. One that is very my style, and one a little more out of my comfort zone, sometimes you just have to be adventurous.

This is pretty much my go to fall/winter look. This is currently my favorite flannel, the typical buffalo plaid style. I’ve actually never owned one like this, honestly I was afraid of it looking a little too lumberjack-ish. I purchased it on a whim and I have to say, I haven’t regretted that decision once. I paired it with another obsession of mine right now, my new slip on shoes. I have seen similar styles all over, Steve Madden and Vans are probably the two most popular styles out there. If you haven’t picked up a pair yet, I highly recommend it. You just can’t go wrong with an outfit like this. At least, I don’t think so! Cozy and comfortable but still stylish. Sounds like everything I look for!

To transform this flannel to a little more of a party look, just change up a few things. The easiest are shoes and accessories! I added a few sparkly bracelets and earrings, any time I can throw on statement earrings, I’m in. Trade in those slip ons for a less comfortable but still super cute heel. (I wish I could be that girl who can do an 8 hour day in heels, but I’m not, please tell me I’m not alone in that) Add a red lip and you are good to go! Like I mentioned, not a look I would typically go for but whenever you have a piece that has never let you down, it’s a bit easier to try out new things!

So, tell me what's your favorite way to style your flannel?
(You know I'm going to opt for the comfy shoes 9/10 times)!

it's been fun,
clancy
